Ministry of Education. The Ministry of Education in Kenya verbally endorses the concept offered by ZanaA. We are in final discussions at the level of the Directors and Permanent Secretary to authorize ZanaA to implement its plans in 2009 and expect a partnership agreement to be signed in November.
Non-Profit Partners
Technology for Tomorrow. (www.t4tafrica.org). Creators of MakaPads, issuers of license to ZanaA for MakaPads production. Headed by Professor Moses Musaazi. We are exploring the possibility of distributing MakaPads in Kenya for girls.
The Matibabu Foundation. (www.matibabu.org). Their interest is in female health. As such, they will help in creation of health manuals to be used in the Empowerment Groups.
Regional Network on Child Protection. (www.renocp.net). Principal partner in distribution. RENOCP would oversee the certification of distributors, logistical structure for distribution.
Mavuno Church. (www.mavunochurch.org). Strategic partner in raising awareness, funds, volunteers within Kenya. Mavuno considers ZanaA one of their Frontline Initiatives to achieve Mavuno’s mission of ordinary people impacting society as fearless influencers.
